Engine, Transmission and Drivetrain
Under the hood, the CX-9 packs a SKYACTIV®-G 2.5-Liter engine that puts up a whopping 320 lb-ft torque @ 2,500 rpm. It’s assisted by a SKYACTIV®-Drive six-speed automatic transmission with manual-shift and Sport Mode. Regarding the drivetrain, the CX-9 has two options; i-ACTIV AWD® with Off-road Traction Assist or front-wheel drive (FWD). The acceleration is impressive. The CX-9 can hit 60 mph in just 7.1 seconds!

Other features include a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, heated front seats, and ambient temperature & clock display.
